The Grove Mississippi is part of The Grove, a Web site and online community created to engage and encourage citizens to plant trees and protect the urban tree canopy. The Grove in your state is sponsored by the Mississippi Urban Forestry Council and the Mississippi Forestry Commission.
Why Join the Grove? Inside The Grove, you have the ability to set up a profile, create photo “groves” of trees you have planted to commemorate special events, and join tree groups that create change in your community. Make sure you join the Mississippi group once you create your profile.
Donate to the Mississippi Urban Forest Council Your contribution helps MUFC in fulfilling its mission of sustaining Mississippi’s green legacy by directly supporting the education programming that the organization brings to communities around the state and by supporting better tree management and more tree plantings.

About Mississippi Urban Forest Council
Mississippi Urban Forest Council (MUFC) is a nonprofit organization aimed at promoting quality urban and community forestry in Mississippi. The council provides a variety of diverse programs for citizens, business owners and city and county governments.
Its mission is to sustain Mississippi’s green legacy by helping communities grow healthy trees. MUFC seeks to be a broad-based leadership resource in promoting the importance of trees throughout Mississippi by leveraging user-friendly technology, influencing the policy-making process and providing advanced programming.
Additionally, it encourages citizens to take a proactive role in planting trees and protecting Mississippi’s green legacy to ensure future generations will enjoy the benefits of living in healthy urban forests. MUFC provides opportunities for citizens to get involved by organizing various tree-related programs. .
